Janis Campbell, RN Ms. Campbell joined the Center for Health Services Research in November of 2006 as a Project Coordinator - Multi Site Studies. Her areas of interest is in enhancing the patient/medical team (physicians, nurses, pharmacists, lab staff, etc.) interaction to create the 'team healing' approach with the emphasis on the patient being an equal member of the team. This will allow the patient to be a part of their healing process...so naturally they will be more compliant in all aspects of their health care; medicine adherence, diet modification, smoke cessation, or whatever they feel will enhance their health.

Dr. Karungi joined the Center for Health Services Research as
Project Coordinator, Multi-Site Trials in July of 2007. She
graduated from Makerere University Medical School in Kampala in
2001. Acquired a Master of Science degree in Health Services
Research at the Netherlands Institute for Health Sciences ( n i
h e s), Erasmus University in Rotterdamin 2003 on a NUFFIC
scholarship. Her interests and experience include a unique
combination of skills aimed at integrating clinical care,
clinical research studies, training and project management to
improve the quality of life of the patient.

Ms. Shires joined the Center for Health Services Research as Project Coordinator in April of 2008. She earned her MSW degree fom the University of Michigan in 1999, and her MPH in Community Health Sciences from the University of Illinois in May of 2008.

Ms. Wunderlich joined the Center for Health Services Research in November of 2006 as a Supervisor of Data Management. Tracy earned her MA in Medical Anthropology from Wayne State University in 2005. Ms. Wang joined the Center for Health Services Research in October of 2005 as a programmer Analyst. Mingqun earned her MS in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University in 2002.
